White Oak Valley Farm

I ordered some seeds from White Oak Valley Farm. The day after I placed my order, I received an e-mail saying that they had shipped my seeds. Well, after many days, I still hadn't received my seeds. So, I sent them an e-mail asking if they had tracked the package. They never responded. A couple of days later, I left them a phone message too. Again, absolutely no response. Then I contacted LocalHarvest, and they said that the farm didn't respond to their message either. In fact, LocalHarvest even offered to refund my money.

Well, it turns out that this farm actually shipped my seeds NINE days later than they said they did in their "your product has been shipped" e-mail. Anyway, this farm is dishonest and completely unreliable. I will never order from them again, and I advise others to shop elsewhere.

We apologize for the difficulty you had communicating with us regarding your seed order. Due to several technical issues with our email and message services, we did not receive many emails and voicemails that some customers left for us over a 3 week period. We were not even aware that we were not receiving the messages until several weeks later. The issues have since been resolved and we are doing our best to always promptly reply to all messages. For the easiest way to get in touch with us, please send us an email. We are a small family farm and for most of the year, there is rarely anyone around to answer the phone. We are at local farmers markets or out in the fields each day from early morning until late in the evening when it is too late to return calls. If you do not receive a reply back from us via email within 48 hours, feel free to give us a call and leave a message with your email address included. We check messages late at night and are able to respond to you via email much more promptly than by phone call. We always do our best to ship all orders out promptly. However, during the peak ordering season of Feb-May, we occasionally get a bit behind on filling orders and there can be a delay of a week or so from the time you receive notification that your order has processed to the date we actually ship out your order. We apologize again for the unpleasant experience you had regarding your order and communicating with us. We appreciate you choosing to purchase seeds from us and hope that in the future, you will give us another chance to supply you with quality seeds and timely communications regarding your order.
