I just got my raw Buckwheat honey. I am not an expert. This review is also as much a question. I had raw Buckwheat honey before that had a distinct barnyard smell and deep kind of funky taste. It was also very thick, would not really pour. I liked it. This buckwheat honey has literally no barnyard smell, is very viscous and also not particularly unique flavor from common honey. It could be my taste buds and smell are not as good as they used to be. But I'm just questioning if this buckwheat honey from Bill's is the real deal. Is it cut in some way, is it cooked, is it super filtered? According to what I've read, and experienced buckwheat honey is supposed to have a pungent smell and taste, like it did the last time I ordered some from a different supplier. Like I said, this honey is very easy to pour and lacks a pungent quality. So just asking. If it's just that fresh or it's because of different growing conditions, I'd like to know.
