The Tree Farm

For over 35 years Chris and Karen Upper have been growing ethnic and traditional vegetables on the hills near Indian Lake Park. Chris's background as a UW Professor in this field makes him a highly respected Agriculturist. The "tree farm" has since ceased operation but the growing lives on. Joining him now is Sue, his ex UW assistant who's taken over since Karen retired from the fields. Both of these wonderful people offer knowledge and helpful tips on how to pick, eat and store their incredible vegetables. This is a must for anyone looking for fresh grown ready to pick vegetables. Not sure if they're certified organic but they're pretty darn close if not "officially certified." Cash is the form of payment that is accepted as far as I know.
