M'Organic Meadows

My friend and I decided to go in on a quarter of galloway beef that Stephanie was advertising on Facebook. After being assured that the meat would be ready by mid-July, maybe earlier, my friend made a deposit on the meat. Four months later, the beef has not been made available and there is no butcher date or plausible explanation for the delay. Excuses ranged from "we need to sell the rest of the beef before we can make yours available" to "it's too early in the season". We have requested that the deposit be returned to us, and Stephanie is insisting that she will only refund the money once someone else has purchased the beef.

I strongly advise against doing business with this farm. Stephanie has ignored multiple inquiries on when the beef can be ready, and has repeatedly given statements that contradict things she said previously. I wonder how many other people's deposits are being held indefinately.
