Earnest Earth

Beautiful produce of a surprising variety given their acreage, outstanding relationship with the community around their farm (Garfield Park), excellent farm parties (though not nearly frequent enough!), truly passionate farmers who care about the soil and their relationship to it, my only complaint is that now the produce I see in grocery stores makes me really sad. Thankfully my full share was enough to ensure I have preserves enough to last my wife and myself until the much anticipated first harvest!

These guys are the real deal, if you care about local food then you should be supporting them. Can't wait to see what the next year brings, I recommend them to all my friends and acquaintances. I'll be signing up for a CSA from them for the rest of my time in Chicago for sure!
