Amorphous Gardens

By: Sarah Berry (Jul 7, 2019)
I started going to the MS Farmers Market recently, and already my go-to stand is Amorphous Gardens @ Canton. Their variety of tomatoes is the main attraction for me. For well under $15 in a single visit, I come home with a bag of purple, red, orange, and yellow tomatoes of all shapes and sizes that lasts right up to the next Saturday. The purple ones make the best ever tomato sandwiches! I use a mix of yellow, orange, and red ones in salads and sauces. Am about to get a light, slightly creamy sauce down pat (dice em up, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, 2 Tb butter, generous amounts of garlic and basil, and roast for at least an hour in a 300 degree oven to start, then down to @ 280 for the last 15 minutes or so with maybe 1/4 cup cream, 1/8 cup milk, and a Tb of sugar.) Superb so far.

Oh, and Jonathan and Sevanna are super nice, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer my many questions. We should all be proud to support their effort and hard work.
