Boggy Creek Farm

Carol Ann and Larry are amazing folks, with an amazing farm, and an amazing ability to inspire. They are role models for all of us. Amazing stewards of their land. All produce is organically grown, and tended to with much compassion for the land. They harness nature to provide delectible vegetables and fruits through out all four seasons. It's amazing how well nature can take care of itself when left to its own devices. I drive 25 miles from one of the farthest suburbs to shop the selection and pick Carol Anns brain to help my own small garden grow while my children feed the farm pet free roaming chickens. Penny is their favorite. I signed up for the e-newsletter on their site which lets me know what's available that week which is helpful in menu planning. The newsletter is quite informative for my own gardening efforts as well and can also be quite entertaining. Carol Ann does a fine job in her writtings of communicating her passion for the farm and self sustainment. And has inspired me to begin advocating for local food growth in our suburb as well.
