Chestnut Farms

My family have been Chestnut Farms CSA members for years, and the quality of the meat is superb. Not only do we get a variety of different meats in our share each month, but there's also the opportunity to buy eggs and other cuts that I've not had exposure to, like beef heart, beef liver, chicken liver and beef bones. The meat is always so good. I've been to the farm for a pig roast, and it was truly an amazing place. The pigs were grazing in the woods, the chickens were cute, and the people are all so friendly, and they care about farming, about the animals, and their community. Chestnut Farms is a great way to interact with the people and the animals that are part of a clean, wholistic, and respectful way of fulfilling community through food and doing it with love. Prior to finding Chestnut, my wife and I had stopped buying all meats from grocery stores due to the obvious flaws in the taste and texture. We were already growing our own veggies. Chestnut has become part of our family.
