Hansen's Farm Fresh Dairy

We took a tour of this 5th generation dairy farm in early May. We saw the cows being milked and fed and learned about how the cows graduate from the nursery where they are bottle fed to pre-school to elementary school etc as they learn how to eat together and coexist in a herd. We saw how they make ice cream and cheese curds and we ourselves got to turn cream into butter and eat the rewards of our efforts! Jordan is amazing and articulate and warm and welcoming and gave us amazing insights into the world of dairy farming. Given that we were in a travel trailer we could not buy many goods but did purchase some of the cheese curds, milk and chocolate milk (best thing under the sun - not too sweet but SCRUMPTIOUS). The milk is pasteurized and NOT homogenized and of superior quality. My husband surprised me by buying a couple of the Wagyu-Holstein steaks...literally the best steak I have ever had. I cannot say enough about this amazing farm and the quality of their products.
