Bountiful Beloit

Jenny's store is a terrific resource for a small city like Beloit. Her neighborhood location (a mile or so from the core downtown) puts her within walking distance for a core clientele of health-minded enthusiasts for organically grown produce. The store is also at the heart of one of Beloit's "food deserts"--some distance from major grocery stores. Our hope is that she can serve both "foodie" neighbors who frequent farmers' markets on weekends (and want to be able to pick up organic foods throughout the week) as well as folks who might not have regular access to healthy and locally-grown produce. I am THRILLED that they are introducing a CSA option that doesn't require a season-long subscription. Lots of people like me in this neighborhood travel in and out of Beloit in the summer, so being able to opt in and out of a high-quality CSA plan is something I'm REALLY excited about. When the fall veggies come in, I'll be able to stock up for the winter because of this. Jenny & Raul ROCK!
