Dark Horse Farms

I took lessons from Melissa in 2020 after years of not being on a horse. You make progress without feeling constantly rushed. She is friendly and patient. Over the months I became aware of what products she sells (regularly eggs, annual meats) but she never tried to upsell. It seemed like a very safe place to be, and I really enjoy my time at Dark Horse Farm. The horse ride areas are all outdoors. If your happy to come out in a slight rain, she'll be happy to teach, but she'd never charge for weather canceling. She never suggested anything bad about riding or not riding. I tend to ride in the rain, but I did cancel out once for weather. Her chickens and turkey get serious free range time from what I saw, and her herds are moved for grass acess frequently.
