Plus, Sarah and Pat are deeply good people. It's a privilege and a blessing to not only know where our food comes from but know the people who grow it. When we go to the farm or the market and they greet us by name, when I can email them and ask them if they have something we want or need (more collards! more fennel!), I feel grateful for that kind of relationship. They work so hard and put so much love into what they do, and that energy trickles down into every aspect of Squashington -- from the taste of the food to the process by which it all happens.
