I thought I would try a csa again, it has been many years. I only got a partial since it?s just the two of us. With week 11, we again got yet another bag of green beans, ONE tomato, 7 peppers, 2 types. Cucumbers coming out of my ass. My boxes have consisted of 1 or 2 of something than two much of other types.
Perhaps this is normal, I don?t t know but we will not repeat again.

Hi there I understand CSA shares to usually be what the farmers are growing in season. Each season allows for specific crops to be featured and as the seasons change you may notice less of one crop and more of another. I think it is fairly normal to see these fluctuations with your CSA shares. It is important to remember that everything offered in the box was grown at that particular farm and consider the seasons, weather patterns, and maybe in the future ensure the farm share you sign up for will at some point grow some of your favorite produce. Hope this helps!
