Stone Mountain Farmers Market LLC

I finally made it to the Wednesday farmers market. Some folks were selling products, while others were selling fresh produce. Most venders tried to have something fresh or unique. I ended up purchasing a Rose simple syrup from Basil Family farms, which is a local farm. They had rose syrup samples mixed in with lemonade, so rose lemonade! So refreshing on a triple digit temperature day. I guess I was feeling good about that, I slipped up and didn?t ask the last vender I bought from if they were local. I purchased a seeded watermelon and noted, once I?d gotten home, that it had a sticker from Indian Hills Produce, out of Florida?not so local. All in all, I?d go back, but I?m sticking to the locals Only.
