I was easily able to spend all my share during the season with such an abundance of wonderful produce. The root veg: carrots potatos turnips beets were especially excellent. I got enough beans, carrots, parsley, onions, peppers, tomatos and jalapenos during the season that I was able to freeze quite a bit, and we're still using them now in soups and stews. Yum!
The best side effect of joining a CSA was the adventure of trying something new (AKA what do I do with 3 bunches of carrots and 3 bunches of turnips??).
You guys rock the Farm world!

Although the typical CSA is a great option for many, I am so enamored with the market atmosphere, enjoy interacting with the farmers, and prefer picking out my own selection that the Meadow's Mirth debit-style CSA is perfect for me. I would go to the market anyway, so there is no inconvenience, just more flexibility as I can allocate my own purchases throughout the year. Plus, it makes the transactions smoother because I do not have to handle money while juggling my bags.
I was very excited to find out that Meadow's Mirth has a CSA because it is such an exceptional farm. Their produce is organic, and they often grow heirloom varieties. They offer the highest quality in a wide selection that covers my staples, such as onions, garlic, and potatoes. I have never tasted sweeter carrots or turnips, and their pea tendrils are a pure treat. Josh and Jean are warm and friendly and take the time to know your name. Their wonderful customer service and superb produce make them one the first vendors I visit at the market. They just have it all, and I could not do without them. Thank you so much! I am looking forward to another delicious season!

We have been CSA members at Meadow's Mirth since their first summer. We have always enjoyed being members there but this summer having the flexibility of choosing the produce we wanted at the local farmer's market was especially appreciated. Thanks Josh and Jean!!

This was our first CSA experience and we really enjoyed choosing items at the market and learning to cook interesting new things with them. Josh and Jean had great recipe and preparation recommendations for things we weren't using to cooking with (kuri squash was the biggest hit) and a consistently good selection as well. We liked being able to pick our own items at the market, and allocate our CSA money according to our preferences, and also not having to waste delivered foods on weeks when we were away. Last but not least, the quality of every item of produce we got was excellent. Highly recommended!

Nice job! We really appreciate the produce being picked ripe as it's SO much better for us!

A beautiful, local, certified organic farm with very diversified crops. The products are absolutely delicious. Josh and Jean are some truly hard working people but enthusiastic smiles never leave their faces! A fantastic CSA with a huge 'pick your own' herb garden. Need an idea what to do with a veggie you've never tried before ? Just ask, they always take time to share their extensive knowledge. Providing fresh food for their local community, its their passion, and they are REALLY good at it.
