I have been getting my meat from Open Space Meats, now known as Mariposa Ranch, for several years. I've always been satisfied with my orders. They personally deliver my orders since I'm close to them and they always send a text the day of delivery. They pack the meat in an insulated box with ice packs so the meat arrives frozen and will stay frozen if you are not home at the time of delivery. The meat always tastes fresh, so much better than store bought meat. If you are looking for good healthy grass fed beef try Mariposa Ranch, formerly known as Open Space Meats. You won't be disappointed.

This is our second time ordering from Open Space Meats. The first time the meat was of extremely high quality, so we decided to order again. This time the meat is pure junk and I will never order from them again!!! Black on the edge of the chicken breasts, poor quality meat (and not enough of it) and the bones aren't good soup bones but small tiny bones. I am extremely disappointed.

Wanted to give them 5 stars in addition to my reply to the previous reviewer.

We have been buying Open Space Meats beef on/off for a few years with 70% luck, that is, 30% of the meats were in various stages of spoiling. Not sure if this is the retail market's fault where we were shopping, or Open Space's fault. I do not know because Open Space NEVER returns inquiries. I lost trust in this company, looking for cert organic product instead.

Are you kidding? I have been ordering Open Space Meats for 2 to 3 years now,and it comes frozen in a huge container to my front door. Never has any of their meat been spoiled. Perhaps the retailer did not properly store the meat once delivered. I recently tried several local farmers near me due to convenience, but the quality did not compare to the Open Space cuts. The last steak we had was from one of the local guys and was so bad we threw it out, and it did not taste grass fed. I continue to buy chicken, pork and eggs from the local farmers, but going back to the beef products from Open Space.
