I have been a part of the Earthwize CSA for almost 2 years and am so grateful for it. I feel like its Christmas morning every Friday afternoon. The deliveries are varied and contain many fresh fruits and vegetables. They have encouraged me and my husband to try foods we never would have tried otherwise. Kale is one of my new favorites thanks to Earthwize. The produce is fresh and the Farmers are friendly. I could not be more pleased. I love the opportunity to buy locally and invest in a local farm. The eggs are out of this world. I never believed that you would be able to taste the difference, but you can.

This was my first experience with this type of farm and while I applaud the effort they are making I am dissapointed in the results. I joined in April (lost two weekends that month) and I expected things to start slowly but I anticipated that it would pick up once June arrived. I have received produce which was past use (peaches already gone) and frankly I have been surprised by the produce delivered. I would expect peaches and corn, cucumbers and tomatoes in most every order. My orders have been heavy on peppers (how many hot peppers can two people use?), beets, squash and eggplant. I realize that it might be better in July and August but I am not willing to take that chance. Frankly, I would expect produce picked at least the day before to be much fresher than what I have received. I can go to local produce stands and farmers markets and do better. I realize that this produce may be organic and I do appreciate what they are trying to do but unless they improve what they are doing it is certainly not worth the cost.

It's been a couple of years since my last review so I thought it was time for another. I'm still an Earthwize Farms CSA shareholder and still loving the convenience, great produce variety & friendly farmer. I like that I'm directly supporting our farmer with no middleman, and know that it really makes a difference for the environment & our farm family.

Communication is great- they call us if anything changes & have a Facebook site so we can share recipes and food info. I especially like seeing what everyone makes with the same set of ingredients every week- such creativity! I wholeheartedly recommend this CSA to everyone I know and several have joined. If you want a wide variety of great local fruits & veggies delivered right to your door, and a great group of people to work with this is the CSA to sign up for!

Earthwize Farms has been my shining star this year. It has been wonderful to get a bundle of earthly goods each Friday and looking forward to figuring out what to cook using my little gifts. More people need to eat and cook this way. It has been a wonderful experience. It is truly the best thing I have done for my family this year. I love it!

This is our second year with Earthwize Farms CSA and we think this is a great CSA on all fronts. The variety is wonderful - always 6 or 7 and sometimes as many as 12 kinds of things in a week! Amounts vary but in peak times our full share has included such treats as 3-4 soccer ball-sized cantalopes, 3-4 bigger than basketball watermelons, 8 ears of fresh corn and more- all perfectly ripe and oh so yummy!

The farm and their trading partners use sustainable farming methods and we get to participate by switching out reusable delivery bags and returning packaging for composting or reuse as appropriate.

Newsletters, a website and Facebook keep us up to date on what's happening and help us learn more about the foods we're getting. All in all a great choice for you and your family!

I totally agree with the previous review. Earthwize is great. I love getting fresh picked produce and am so excited to see what I receive each week. The ladies at Earthwize are also extremely helpful with any questions I have on the produce I receive. I have told anyone interested in fresh produce about them. Can't wait to start back after the break.

I found EarthwiZe through localharvest.org and could not be happier with the fact that I did. I am currently in my 3rd six week cycle on getting a 1/2 share delivered weekly to my home in North Augusta, SC.

Each week another "Christmas present" arrives on Friday filled with vegetable goodies. I've had wonderful tomatoes (green ones too), summer and zuchini squash, watermelons, a huge pumpkin, onions (delicious), garlic, green beans, green peppers (not my fave), jalepeno peppers, lavender soap (homemade), jasemine (wonderful scent), cherry tomatoes, eggplant (deep and light purple), beets (my wife made beet bread), and my favorite potatoes... we have had fingerlings, white, red, blue and multiple varieties of sweet potatoes (deep orange to almost white), asian pears, and a variety of hot peppers (pablano I think). The list could probably go on but suffice to say the variety is there and EarthWize delivers it all to my door. They also include a small newsletter to help you know what you received and recipe ideas.

Another thing I love is the year round capacity of EarthWiZe so I do not have to go back to the grocery store in the fall and winter months.

If you are in the CSRA I can highly recommend EarthWiZe.
