I visited the Middletown area in July. Being a Garden State resident and farmers' market enthusiast, I went to town Saturday morning and had a blast! The Wayside Inn Farmers' Market had friendly merchants, a large selection of free-range (and chemical-free) beef, pork, chicken and lamb, fresh organic produce (and seedlings) and the best goat milk and cheese I've ever tasted. The live chicks and hens, bunnies and ducks were healthy-looking and clean.
It was a beautiful morning, and I walked over to check out the Middletown Farmers' Market. They too had some nice selections, but were a little bit standoffish (perhaps because I was a "foreigner"?), so I was very satisfied to give my business to the Wayside Inn farmers.
Five stars to the friendliest and best farmers' market in Middletown!

This is by far the best farmer's market ever. The produce, eggs, chickens, Golden Farm meats, and products from Cornerstone Farm are top notch. Did I mention the most friendly, helpful people too? They will go above and beyond for their customers. And we thought customer service was a thing of the past...not at Wayside Inn Farmer's Market!! Everyone should go for a visit. Even if you don't need anything, you will at least make some good friends.

I love stopping by the Wayside Inn Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings. I grab a cup of coffee and I go for a visit. The people are terrific. I could stay and talk all day. It is the only farmers' market that I know of in the area that carries all-natural, free-range beef, lamb, pork, chicken and eggs. The produce is great. And my wife ends up getting flowers, which always helps.

Whenever we are in Middletown we fill our car with the most wonderful produce from the WaySide Inn Farmers'Market. Check out the delicious lamb and pork for Golden Farm, baked goods, fresh vegtables...well worth the effort!

I love stopping by the Wayside Inn Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings. Its a great place to hang out with a cup of coffee. The people are terrific, the produce is excellent, the conversation is first rate, and I always find something to bring home to my wife. I've tried the other area farmers' markets, but this is the one to go to. The wide variety of offerings is a plus too. Try the beef, lamb, pork, chicken, eggs, etc. Be careful of the chicks, turkeys, bunnies and ducks . . .you'll want to take some home!

If you like home grown natural produce and meats this is the place to go. Great selection of veggies, pies, jellies and goods grown and produced by local farmers. Not sure why the other guys listed themselves as "the Only local produced" Farmers Market. I've never even heard of them. The Wayside is a well known local Historic spot and easy to find. Well worth a stop as you travel through this historic area. Visit all the Farmers Markets....we need to support our local farmers and benefit from what great stuff they all sell.
