I love the fresh local fruits and vegetables, and you just can't beat the fresh baked dairy-free breads and baked goods. They are so good!

The Simsbury Farmers Market provides great produce and other foods, beautiful plants, homemade pottery and crafts that have style and integrity...it's a great place to buy gifts and receive education, too! An awesome environment (with entertainment)where I can support local growers and craftsmen to encourage and appreciate them!

It's just a great market. The markets managers and volunteers are some of the nicest people you could meet. The farmers bring a wide assortment of fresh picked produce that you know is local and you can appreciate the the difference from the local super market.

The music and kids activities are great! The market offers fresh local and organic fruit, veggies, eggs, dairy, etc. all in one spot. I rarely visit a grocery store!

It's a great place to have an outing with the whole family. Music, food, friends, and a way to buy local direct from the farmer.

Simsbury Farmers Mkt has a variety of local products. I would not find this variety in any other "one-stop" shopping experience.

Great local, fresh, and safe produce. I used to work on a farm, so I enjoy the freshest, and safest food for my family. I like knowing where my food comes from. We need to depend more on locally grown and raised foods.

So much fun to be there even as a kid! I love walking around and seeing all the people smiling at me and my children, and they have a blast there as well. They even do a christmas market with animals and scavenger hunts for all ages. I love it.

The dedication of the volunteers is unbelievable. Their commitment is an inspiration and shows what hard work and determination can bring to a community. The Market is now a Thursday afternoon destination bringing a variety of talented musicians, chefs, artisans, bakers, and growers together. Bravo!

The Simsbury Market is a great place to get acquainted with our local farmers, bakers and artisans. It's wonderful to buy and eat fresh, delicious, chemical free veggies and fruit. Chatting with friends while listening to live local musicians in a lovely country setting is my idea of good fun.

The Simsbury Market is both elegant and friendly. The music is great and the kids activities imaginative and engaging. The wooded glen is an ideal venue for a grass-top market. It has a cozy feel and is still PACKED with vendors. My family's Fave!

It's such a diverse market- I can get almost anything that is in season from local farmers, ask them on advice, find recipes, listen to live music every week and keep my kids occupied with kids crafts, & ice cream! Thank you to the all-volunteer committee, the town and Simsmore Square for offering such a great community event!!!!

I think it is importatn to support the local farmers for fresher, better tasting produce. Without the local farmers we would be dependent on the large farms that use pesticides and chemicals. They pick the produce before they are ripe and it takes about 7 to 14 days to reach our grocery store. Fresh and local is the best.

Rain or shine these great people have booths of locally grown fruit and produce. The added and improved things, e.g. entertainment, green info, etc. have made this year's kick off a great success. We see many friends and neighbors each week...just great for the community....keep up the great work...

This market has a great selection of vendors and it is very well organized. The market volunteers do a great job and always helpful. I also like the location (on a nice soft grassy green) and the live music!

Easy way to support better eating habits and the local farm community at the same time. It doesn't hurt that it close which makes it convenient!

To help local farmers stay in business and to keep their land from the developers that would destroy the beauty and happiness we now have in our town.

I stopped by the new Simsbury Farmer's Market the other day and I was very impressed with how together they've got it after such a short time in operation. As a longtime patron of farmer's markets across the country I found that the vendors at the Simsbury Farmer's Market were on top of their game. The answered any and all questions about their goods - I even got suggestions on how to cook my garlic scapes from the girl running the George Hall Farm tent! There was also a great selection of handicrafts and homemade goods, and the music added to the lively atmosphere. Granted, its a small market, but if it continues as it is I have no doubt it will only get better!
