The Simsbury Farmers Market will celebrate its fifth birthday this year! The market runs every Thursday, June 21 through October 4, 3-6pm. It is held on the Green at Simsmore Square, 540 Hopmeadow Street. With new market master Ellyn Ziplow at the helm, this year looks to have new vendors and a new look.
Old favorites such as George Hall Farm (certified organic) and American Pie will join new faces such as GIV Coffee, Bright Yellow Farm and Collinsville Baking Company. Patrons will be able to buy grass-fed beef, organic vegetables, kettle corn and ice cream all at one location.
In addition to offering a wide range of in-season produce, the market will also
feature a select group of artisan crafts and will showcase weekly local music groups. Kids crafts and activities will be offered throughout the season. Please visit our website for up to date information about weekly events.
