I love the warm, friendly atmosphere--there's a real sense of community here! Getting to meet and chat with the farmers and artisans is a wonderful experience, and, of course, there's always a great variety of gorgeous, fresh produce and amazing sweets and coffees and cheeses. It's a feast for the senses and a delicious experience from start to finish!

This market has the best selection of responsibly grown produce and meat and cheese of any that I have visited. It's always a delight, and we do quite a bit of shopping there.

Wide variety of produce, Wonderful place to meet friends and neighbors. Like the idea of a sustainable food source and want to support local farmers. Some of produce (fresh tomatoes, peaches, corn) can't be found anywhere else.

There are very few markets that have such fresh local food. Our market is a community thing where we get to see our neighbors, share information about what's going on, and yet we have beautiful rich produce, I look forward to the market every week.

I'm coming close to doing my weekly shopping there. There's everything I need and more -- just picked produce, organic food, local farmers, amazingly delicious fresh fish, grass fed meat. Tomatoes and cukes are still my favorites! It's "buying local" at its best. Thank you farmers and all!

-We want to heartily support Massachusetts farms and the produce there is far and away better than what you can get at grocery stores. Love the local popcorn makers, chocolate sauce makers, coffee roasters and bakers as well.

I've seen this market grow from just a few farmers' stalls to a true social and community happening. School kids sell hand-made bracelets- right next to local cheese-makers featuring flavors I never knew existed-- There are the fish mongers with the freshest catch around--and the old Swedish lady-farmer with the braided hair and the bunches of organic broccoli and small bouquets of daisies. The market's become a signature of the town.

I look forward to going every Wednesday. I regularly buy eggs, goat cheese, bones for my dog (when they have them), grass-fed beef, lots of salad stuff, fish, and any other vegetable that looks good. I always run into someone I know; overall, it's a great place to shop. Kudos to those who run it, and to the farmers who come to it.

You just can't get the freshness in the supermarket, that you get when something it picked that day. That is why I love our farmers market. It is so wonderful to actually meet some of the farmers that grow what I will bring home and cook for dinner.

I vote for the corn from Kimball Fruit Farm today. Small but spectacular! Pea Tendrils from the Asian farm (sorry don't know the name but they are usually across from the fish ladies), yummy sautéed with garlic, sea salt and olive oil. Any fish from the Fish Ladies. Tonight we had Bluefish seared with Old Bay--the crispy skin was better than bacon. Marinated Goat Cheese from the Goat Cheese lady Free Range Chicken next door. Extra Sharp Cheddar and Ground Beef from Smith's is the makings of the best cheeseburger on the planet. Every single loaf from Mamadou's Bakery at the very top of the row. Holy Moly that's good bread. I usually can't wait and slice off the heal to gnaw on while I cook up the catch of the day. :)

I buy every week from Nicewitz Farms and Dick's market . I wouldnt' miss it for anything. I love that the market is excluding all products with transfats and bad ingredients. Patsy Cramer does a great job organizing the market for Arlington.

Arlington Farmers Market is a weekly community event that gives me hope our town can survive the current economic downturn. A large cross section of Arlingtonians shop at the market: young professionals, families, seniors. We have a great selection of vendors and folks look just plain happy to be there.

They come to us, just as conveniently as the local Stop and Shop down the block. And we get to talk to the people who grow our food without pesticides, etc. And at the end of the day when they have leftovers, they give them away! That's COMMUNITY!

Because everything taste SO fresh and delicious. Because it's actually fun to go shopping there, hang out, chat, meet people and make friends. Because it's right down the road. Because I love meeting and knowing the people who grow the food I eat! Last night we had an amazing dinner with the freshest fish and sweetest strawberries for dessert. Delicious!
