My husband and I visited the farm during the NH Open Door weekend. Everything is so well maintained and it's evident that the cows are happy, happy, happy.

The roast we purchased tasted just like the Sunday dinners my mom used to make (going back to the 50s, that is!). It was tender, flavorful and juicy. Knowing no hormones or antibiotics are used in the raising of this beef makes it even better!

I love that we're close enough to make the trip again and again. Thanks for putting beef back on my menu; I won't eat any other.

In 2005, thanks to Mary Lou and Charlie, my husband Andy and I were introduced to Bruce and Carole. They were in need of farm sitters, and we were in need of a temporary place to live. Moving to the farm was a rewarding surprise! It's not just a gorgeous place. Learning about the animals, their needs and life style, the way they're treated; the whole thing is a great experience! MSF is now what we call our second home. We've lived there several times, and Carole and Bruce are very inclusive to their friends, guests and family members. We really appreciate their support and dedication to the farm. Not to mention that it's my favorite place to celebrate our Christmas holidays!

Being long-time neighbours of Miles Smith Farm has enhanced our quality of life beyond words. The owners, Carole & Bruce, work very hard to take excellent care of their animals and the land. We have enjoyed visiting them and taking advantage of their retail store where they make their own beef available as well as provide an outlet for other local farms to sell their products.
