We found Quarles Farm through the Local Harvest web site and contacted them directly. Janet could not have been more helpful.

We sent her our order on e-mail and decided to go directly to the farm to pick it up. We met Janet & one of her adult children who help her run the farm.

Purchased several cuts of beef (ribeye & flank steak) and organ meets (beef heart). Also bought winter veggies (kale) and baked goods (pumpkin chocolate chip bread).

All were just delicious. Particularly enjoyed the beef heart, which was wonderful simply cut up & pan fried.

We were very happy with all of their products and will buy from Quarles Farm again without hesitation!

My first encounter with Quarles Farm was when searching for iris to plant at my house several years ago. The plants I bought come back and bloom beautifully every spring. Next I discovered their green tomato pickles and relishes; yum! Most recently I've added their beef to our menu, with raves throughout my household. This farm participates at several markets from Lexington to Louisville, but I patronize their stand at the Franklin County Farmers Market in Frankfort. When in the area, check out this farm; you will not be disappointed!
