This was my first experience with a CSA and it was a great one! The communication was outstanding, I recieved an email newsletter the day prior to receiving my box of goodies and it was so lovely to know what was coming, how to store it and how to prepare it. The other thing I loved was the enthusiam from Gina and Tony. It was infectious and made me excited to try new produce that I would have never tried before. I never liked Beets, as they always came pickled in a can which was disgusting to me. When I recieved them in my box, I thought "well, here we go, I have never had them fresh, I have to try it!" I ended up slicing them up and sauteeing them with a little butter and kosher salt and they were delicious! Now, I like beets! Needless to say, having this experience has helped me change my palate and even engaged my 7 year old son, who was super excited to see what I got in the farm share every Thursday as well! :)

Gina and Tony put the most nutrient dense produce I have ever seen in the boxes each week. Extremely high quality veggies and a much wider variety than most CSA's.

IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD TO KNOW I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING FOR MY FAMILY AND JUST AS IMPORTANTLY, OUR COMMUNITY BY HAVING A SHARE OF PRODUCE DELIVERED EVERY WEEK. I REALLY LIKE SUPPORTING LOCAL ORGANIC FARMS! IT FORCES US TO GET OUT OF THE BOX AND TRY NEW RECEPIES WHICH THEY PROVIDE WITH THEIR DELIVERIES. FOOD 4 THOUGHT PROVIDES A GREAT SERVICE AND HELPS ME ACHIEVE MY GOAL OF HEALTHY FAMILY EATING.

A friend and I purchased a full CSA share from Food 4 Thought and were quite pleased. The produce was always very fresh and it was so fun to get that box on Thursday and open it to see what we were getting that week. The delivery was always on time-and how nice to get it delivered to our work place! I also found the web site helpful for identifying the different types of produce and they always had great ideas and recipes. They also provided a laminated produce storage chart which I still have on my refrigerator and refer to often. I will be purchasing another share this year from them. I would highly recommend doing business with Food 4 Thought! Thank you.
