Honeybee Mobile Market

This was my first experience with a CSA and it was a great one! The communication was outstanding, I recieved an email newsletter the day prior to receiving my box of goodies and it was so lovely to know what was coming, how to store it and how to prepare it. The other thing I loved was the enthusiam from Gina and Tony. It was infectious and made me excited to try new produce that I would have never tried before. I never liked Beets, as they always came pickled in a can which was disgusting to me. When I recieved them in my box, I thought "well, here we go, I have never had them fresh, I have to try it!" I ended up slicing them up and sauteeing them with a little butter and kosher salt and they were delicious! Now, I like beets! Needless to say, having this experience has helped me change my palate and even engaged my 7 year old son, who was super excited to see what I got in the farm share every Thursday as well! :)
