This is a 5 star family farm of which we don't have enough of any more. This operation is home spun quality. Our family looks forward to the veggies and maple products throughout the year.

Thank you Divoky family!

I purchased a dozen eggs from Maple Valley at the Chardon Square farmer's market. The first three eggs I cracked were already scrambled in the shell (old?). The next one was BLACK on the inside and smelled horrible--not your standard rotten egg smell, but more like putrid meat and compost. I didn't even bother to see if the rest were similar--I just threw them away.

Of all of the eggs we have sold, all but one person found a bad egg. Everyone tells us that our eggs are the best. We have no idea if the eggs were bad, because that person never came to us to tell about her dozen

The Divoky Family is one of the friendliest families I have ever met. They took a few hours out of their busy day to show my boyfriend and I around the farm. It was amazing to see the chickens and sheep running around. They also walked us through the woods and showed us how they make maple syrup. When we went to leave, Donna gave us a dozen eggs as a thank you for visiting. I have never eaten eggs so amazing! The yolks were golden and were great for baking. I can't say enough good things about this family and their farm.

One of the best features of this CSA is that you can choose what you want in your box each week. This allows you to plan your meals for the coming week or plan what you want to can or freeze.

The farm is owned by a wonderful family; the Divokys are passionate about what they grow and want to share their good food with their subscribers! We ate very well last summer because of this CSA, and we can't wait for another great growing season with an even wider variety of locally grown whole foods to choose from.

(Just read Michael Pollan's book "In Defense of Food" and you'll know that you have to join a CSA this spring!)
