Maple Valley Sugarbush & Farm

I purchased a dozen eggs from Maple Valley at the Chardon Square farmer's market. The first three eggs I cracked were already scrambled in the shell (old?). The next one was BLACK on the inside and smelled horrible--not your standard rotten egg smell, but more like putrid meat and compost. I didn't even bother to see if the rest were similar--I just threw them away.

Of all of the eggs we have sold, all but one person found a bad egg. Everyone tells us that our eggs are the best. We have no idea if the eggs were bad, because that person never came to us to tell about her dozen
