If you've never tasted a Native Offerings carrot, you've never tasted a carrot. The arugula? Don't even get me started! It's that simple - their food tastes the best. In my experience, peak flavor comes from the happiest plants and animals, and I'm sure the quality of this farm's organic meat and produce is a direct result of the hard work and attention to detail they put into their craft.
Before I got involved with the CSA, I had a vague seasonal conception. Food was usually at the supermarket, ready for purchase regardless of season. It's crazy to me now to think of that as the status quo. Now, I'm dreaming of strawberries in June, the silky-smooth early greens, and asparagus. After a few weeks, it'll be on to blueberries and kale, and before you know it, tomatoes will make you realize how quickly the summer flew by.
My wife and I enjoy not only a wide variety of delicious organic produce from Native Offerings, but a sense of place and peace of mind. Plus, it's affordable!

Delicious, nutritious, fresh and the best variety of organic greens for juicing or eating daily. Native Offerings Farm has the know how to supply their customers with the highest quality and best tasting greens and vegetables with your health in mind. If you don't know how to prepare them for your family, you can refer to their website for recipe suggestions and healthy dishes the whole family will enjoy. As a member for over a decade, my family loves the seasonal traditions of roots, greens and vegetables that is provided for us to enjoy on special holidays, through out the summer, fall and into the winter. You will never want to buy a store bought green or veggy after tasting Native Offerings fresh picked produce. Beets, pumpkin, squash, carrots all taste as good as they make you feel when you eat them. Visiting the farm and weekly pick ups is a wonderful weekly ritual, you don't want your family to miss. Deb and Stew Ritchie go out of their way to grow exactly the food you want most

I have been with Native Offerings for 11 years for the following reasons:
1). The farmer has incredible standards for the entire process from seed to distribution. They are selective about their seeds, diligent about the mineralization and health of the soil and they are dedicated to crop rotation.
2). They have higher-than-required standards for ensuring all the crops are organic, and are vigilant to ensure that each crop has an optimal environment for the highest nutrition possible.
3). In the summer, the crops are picked on the morning of distribution--it simply doesn't get any fresher than that!
4). The variety of crops is incredible, I have sampled new produce that one simply can't find in a grocery store.
5). They give me a wonderful selection and do not restrict me to a pre-selected "box".
6). Although for convenience, they provide fruit, they have honestly mastered the organic vegetable and greens CSA market in selection, nutrition, availability and taste.

There is very little sense of Community in this CSA. Perhaps it is better if you pick-up at the farm. They don't share a lot of information and don't seem to like community input. We signed up for a fruit share and they didn't share any information about the farms where they obtained the fruit, since they don't grow the fruit themselves. When I have asked them friendly questions via Facebook they have been curt or shot me down in their reply. The volunteers at the pick-up site ranged from distracted to friendly, but could be downright rude. I have been a member of several CSA's throughout the country and I have never been so disappointed. Next year I am sticking with the Farmer's Market. I find a much better sense of community there and I am fairly certain the prices are better.

We've purchased fruit shares and full season shares as well as pork and beef through Native Offerings for a few years now and have loved everything we've gotten. Pick up is conveniently located and all the products are delicious and fresh. I highly recommend Native Offerings to anyone and everyone I speak to.

This is our first year paying attention to where our food comes from. We bought a meat share and a pork share and have been very satisfied so far. We pick up our pork share this weekend, it was much faster than we expected!
Discussions on the phone with Deb have been great, they are both very helpful and know their stuff!

We are still going strong with Native Offerings! This year we are renewing our fruit share. We have had veggie shares in the past but find that our own garden has provided sufficient for our needs. Their veggie shares are just as wonderful as the fruit shares. Plentiful and delicious! We have 4 kids and it's amazing how much fruit they eat because we have it readily available, in more abundance than we normally purchase through the grocery store. It all gets gobbled up!
