This is a co-op that goes above and beyond what most co-ops accomplish. Customers can order ahead on the convenient website, and there's no minimum order, so you'll never end up with extras you won't use. Still, customers can always purchase "extras" when they arrive at pickup time....and with all of the mouth-watering selections, we always wind up picking up something extra! The producers are friendly and offer a great selection. I very highly recommend this co-op!

The Purple Porch is a great place to get items you just can't find any place else. Michiana has a vibrant cottage food industry and the Purple Porch is the venue to find those delicious foods. A great variety of culinary creations and naturally grown items including healthy pro-biotic salads, tasty krauts, gluen free treats, hand roasted coffee products, unusual and heirloom vegetables, drug free meats, eggs, euro style breads and the list goes on. You have to see it to believe it. The Purple Porch is a great resource and there is no other place like it anywhere. Come check it out!

I joined Purple Porch and picked up my first order last week. Ordering and pick-up were very organized and convenient. I was exceptionally happy with all products I purchased, including local/organic broccoli, fresh flowers and delicious baked goods. It was a bonus to find more products to buy at the pick-up location (got some wonderful radishes and strawberries!) as well as representatives from each local farm.

I also receive a box of produce from another local farmer each week, but the Purple Porch fills another gap in my local buying. I am so grateful to those folks who have devoted so much time and energy to make the Purple Porch happen!
