It's convenient since I'm intown on Weds. anyway, but mostly it's special. I've found the BEST cider I've ever had, every variety of winter squash, and even a pussy willow wreath in the springtime! - just to name a few highlights...

I work near the market and love buying local produce there! There is also a new farmers market in Scarborough, Maine that I go to on Sunday mornings.

I work in Monument Square, and from early April to late October, Wednesdays are the best. Walking into the Square from the parking lot, the abundance of Maine is spread out, starting with pussywillows and seedlings in the early spring through the freshest of seasonal vegetables and perennials in the summer to pumpkins and winter squash in the Fall. It's always a sad day the Wednesday no one is there. Then I know for sure winter isn't far behind. Farmers Market rocks!!!

Wednesday's Market is a wonderful collection of locally grown vegetables, flowers, plants and humanely raised beef, chicken and pork.
