I joined Comeback Creek’s CSA to support local farms and enjoy fresh, seasonal produce. The vegetables and fruit were lovely, vibrant, thoughtfully packed, and clearly grown with care.
But the experience behind the scenes was confusing. I paid nearly $200 early in the year based on a listing advertising a full Spring + Summer share. That listing was later changed without notice, and I received only two boxes before realizing something was off.
It took five emails just to confirm what I’d paid for. No clear season dates, past share info, or pricing breakdowns were available online. Pickup dates were also shared only a week ahead.
When I flagged the gap, they acknowledged the confusion but offered to bill me an additional month (on top of my original payment) to complete what was initially advertised. While I could’ve pursued a chargeback, I chose not to in the spirit of supporting local agriculture. I just hope future customers get more transparency and customer centric service.

The best CSA in DFW and way better then any co-op they have around. Diverse and flavorful vegetables and cannot wait to pick up my share every week. Well worth the money! Would recommend to anyone who loves vegetables. The longest harvest of any CSA I could find. Why not support your local low impact farmer!

I'm considering joining this CSA. I currently do a co-op (bountiful baskets), but am not fully satisfied with the amount of food I get in my organic "basket." I'm new to CSAs. How much food do you get and what kind? Is it a fruit/veggie mix? Are there add-ons?
