Step into the pages of a storybook. The Giojas raise and sell dairy goats, legal raw goat milk, sheep, fresh eggs, chickens, ducks, pigs and more. Watch the farm website for announcements for the Meet the Baby Farm Animals events for the whole family in early March. And then, there's the huge organic farm garden! One of the best things about Joy of Illinois Farm is that Farmer Penny is a patient teacher and mentor who shares her twenty-five years' of farming wisdom in classes on topics ranging from Garden Planning, to Making Chevre Cheese, to All About Eggs, to Wild Edible Weeds and more, that she leads in her quaint old farmhouse dining room "classroom" and farmstead "laboratory." See you there!

the milk I got here was really good. The owners are also very nice people. Highly recommend giving them your business.

Thank you for your kindness! As of July 1, 2016, farms are required to have a state-issued permit to sell raw milk, after jumping through many hoops. Still working on that one.
