Who'd have thought Rockmart would produce a very respectably-sized farmer's market virtually overnight! Kudos to Mecca and Adam for their initiative and dedication to the cause of local growers and good, clean food. The market offers fresh breads and baked goods, soaps and body care products, fresh meats (pork--I bought a pound of smoked bacon, yum!), seasonal vegetables, heirloom tomatoes (I scored a couple of pounds of Hillbilly), field peas (hence the need for the bacon), crafts, jams, jellies, preserves, canned tomatoes, all under the cooling oaks of downtown historic Rockmart. A splendid market that I regret I put off visiting for so long!

Resellers are a nightmare for 'local only' markets. Your post is full of false accusations; Mecca and Adam are only trying to do the RIGHT THING. It is a SHAME that they (and the Rockmart community) have to deal with idiots like you.
The market does have rules, NO RESELLERS, what other rules were you looking for?
As far as the comment of $4.oo per pound for green beans; when you bust your fanny in the field battling insects, weeds, heat, flood and drought, then YOU will understand the cost of GROWING produce.
Please feel free to call me if you would like to discuss further.
