First off getting there was an easy 20 minute drive from central Corvallis, and passed lovely farms along the way. The actual farm is small but beautiful with sheep and chickens greeting you right when you pull in, and gorgeous trees along the main house. Parking was easy along the circular drive and plenty of shade to keep my car cool. We were greeted by friendly workers who took us over the strawberry fields, I was surprised about the abundance of them, they where at least 20 on each plant, not all ripe of course but you get it, it was very easy picking and fun with just a general carefree atmosphere. My friends and had a great time and eating while you picked was a huge plus, all organic so they are clean right there. I also saw a family with little children trying to feed the horse and goats something and they were all laughing and having fun as well. We got like 21 pounds of berries and at a $1.75 per pound it is impossible to beat and being organic is just fantastic.
Well best of luck to fairfield farm and their delicious strawberries
