Years ago, I decided to no longer buy meat at the supermarket, out of concern for animal welfare. That's how I came up with the term 'happy meat'. I can consume meat if the animal was treated humanely. I am very fortunate to be able to buy great beef, lamb, pork, and poultry from Locust Leaf Farm! Always delicious!

The meat and eggs from this farm are raised with the ultimate care, and it is totally evident in the quality of the products. I like knowing where what we eat comes from.

Having an appreciation for the remarkable difference between typical frozen turkey and a fresh Thanksgiving foul we discovered local Locust Leaf Farm as an alternative to an out of state source. Since that first delicious bird we have been loyal customers for many years. We are "On the list" for special opportunities to keep our freezer stocked with expertly trimmed beef steaks and lean hamberger. Expect to pay more than the big box stores for the best food your money can buy. " You are what you eat" as the old saying goes. The beautiful and kind family who works this farm hosts an oasis in the desert of commercial food products, where you can restore your heath through good eating!

We have used their butchering service for our beef cows and the cuts were always exactly like I asked for. We have also purchased half a pig and the meat was so flavorful and excellent quality. Yum!!!

We live around many farms and came upon this one, took the farm tour. Julia and her family were super nice, so we got a fresh chicken and then a beef roast, so amazingly good. Wow. Cannot wait to receive our bulk beef order from them

The owners of Locust Leaf Farm recently invited us to come and tour their farm. What a great family and farm. Not only did we get to see the animals, but we also got to bottle feed a lamb and collect eggs. We could not sign up for meat fast enough. Thanks!
