Loved the veggies every week, and the shared recipes are outstanding! And of course, the fact that everything is local grown and all natural is a super plus. Amanda and Mike are VERY accommodating, gracious and friendly!

I very much look forward to Tuesdays from June to December as I know I have a basket of goodness waiting for my family. I've always loved my veggies and introduced to a few more in my CSA experience. Mike, Amanda, Madeline and the CSA staff feel like family. I usually end up chatting away each week about the farm and cool recipes. Give it a try and if you are not a fan of a veggies there is a swapping table, but we encourage you to try everything. Amanda provides suggested recipes each week and a video about the basket contents.

Love "The Farm" in Woodbury. This was my first year as a CSA member. My pick-up day was my favorite day of the week! It was fun to try new vegetables and everything was always picked fresh! I loved the fruit and egg option. I would highly recommend this wonderful farm!

This winter, we decided to give The Farm a try for their winter CSA. We have been members of another CSA for the past several years during the summer months but have seen some decline in quality and quantity. That being said, 5 weeks into our Winter CSA with The Farm and we just placed our order for their summer CSA Family share. We have been more than pleased with both the quality and quantity of food we have received so far. We enjoy trying new things and this has been perfect. The recipes have helped us make the most of our produce and have brought some variety and change to dull meals. The ability to SWAP if need be is quite helpful. The size of the produce is also astonishing. We are amazed each week. Thank you for providing quality produce at a price we think is very reasonable. Can't wait to continue many years with this CSA! Thanks to The Farm and their crew. Job well done!

2015 Summer was our first year with Woodbury CSA. Our family enjoyed the weekly fresh basket of veggies, it was helpful to receive newsletters/video blogs about the vegetables for the week with recipes for reference. It was great way to try produces that I would not normally see and buy. The pickup was always efficient and easy, they offered to help load the car every time. Although we enjoy the drive to Woodbury, it worked out well to carpool alternating week for pickup with a neighbor in town. I was happy to eat and support local! Thank you!

My son year old says "it's really tasty!" We've been CSA members for two years, and we appreciate the variety of produce as well as the added extras like local honey, maple syrup, and tomato sauce. We especially love their famous sweet corn.
What we really value about the Farm is how hard the owners and their employees work to learn their customers names, to make sure they are happy with the produce, and to answer any questions. They also go above and beyond what one would expect- they must be incredibly busy during the summer season, and yet they take time to provide video tutorials, recipes and suggestions.
At a time when we rarely know where the food in the supermarket comes from, I take comfort in knowing that the owners are eating this food too. It's a sad day when we pick up our last share and have to wait for the next season.

It is like receiving a gift every week! The variety is amazing, and the cooking tips and suggestions make us try things we have never tried before. The trade table is helpful, too. There is no waste, as I trade things i don't want for things that i do. The girls are so friendly every week at pick up, too. Overall, a very positive experience.

Last summer was the first time we did the CSA basket. It was a great addition to our house since I absolutely love to cook and my husband loves to eat! We were able to try different types of vegetables (some we never even heard of), but more importantly it got us in the kitchen cooking together! We loved the recipes that came with the baskets, but a suggestion might be to pick one recipe a week and do a time lapse cooking video of preparing a meal with what is in the basket! (BuzzFeed does this all the time with recipes).

This coming spring/summer will be our 4th CSA with The Farm and we are counting the days until it starts! The team at The Farm are very helpful and accommodating. The produce is AMAZING and gives us the chance to try new things. Amanda's recipes are a great way to help prepare the goodies. Having the trade table is also a great resource as well so you are sure to get the most for your money and very low risk that there may be things you do not prefer. The CSA has also inspired my kids to eat more veggies. Can't wait for spring!

On a roundabout, nice summer, late afternoon ride home from work, enjoying the day with the top down in my Z3, I happened upon a sign that said the "sweetest" corn around was available here. Since my wife and I like to buy local fresh produce, particularly corn, I decided to stop in. The staff at The Farm was very courteous and helped me make my selection. Let me tell you- it did not disappoint! We both enjoyed the corn and my wife, the ultimate corn-on-the-cob critic, and my #1 customer, said it was definitely among the sweetest corn she has ever tasted! I agreed! Since that time, I have been back to The Farm on a number of occasions, each time leaving with delicious, local bounty. I would definitely urge anyone considering becoming a member of the co-op to give it serious thought. The baskets I saw looked inviting! Although I don't live in the area and only go past The Farm sporadically, I will also give it due diligence.

The Farm at Woodbury is the best CSA around. The amount of fresh produce you receive is well worth the price. They also have the best variety! I drive 45 minutes to get their CSA, passing up others that are closer. It is well worth it! Love, love, love the family, too!

I love being a locavor! My brother and I want to support local agriculture, businesses and environmental groups. We started a couple of years ago and have received the freshest tastiest vegetables you could ever imagine. Mike is always available to talk about how things are grown or what new projects are on the horizon. And please let us not forget the wonderful local maple syrup and maple products the farm provides. You can also get your farm fresh eggs here. I love that The Farm partners with other farms for fruit and meats. If you want locally grown, really fresh, tasty, nutrition food. . . .join this wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable CSA!! And I would like to say how much I love the work Amanda does with the flowers. I have always been so pleased with every arrangement. I have made friends here that help me live a better life because of their passion and love for those they serve in what they do.

This was my first year purchasing a CSA and I came in half way through the summer when they offered additional shares. My family of 3 adults really enjoyed the fresh vegetables. We have always had a garden, but Woodbury provided vegetables that I had not thought of growing and some I had not eaten before so it was great way to try new things. I liked it so much that I bought the winter CSA as well and am still eating squash and onions that I have in my basement!
One of the things I love, love, love about the Woodbury CSA are the weekly emails with the list and video of what will be in the basket plus all the recipes. I used many of the recipes throughout the summer.
I just placed my order for the full summer and winter shares and cannot wait for it to start.

My family has been a member of The Farm's CSA for several years. We started with the full share when we still had our three boys at home and now that it's the two of us most of the time, we get the share for two! It has been fantastic and so nice to have fresh vegetables grown right here in my hometown by this hardworking family. I don't even have to think about what to buy each week because I know I'll be picking up my basket and it will be full of all kinds of possibilities. I especially love the fact that I was able to try some vegetables I had never eaten or even heard of before! Recipes were provided just for that purpose and all the ones I tried were delicious. I looked forward to pickup day because all the workers had a friendly smile. Where my food comes from is important to me. I have known this family for 15 years and am very happy to support them in their CSA.

We just joined for both the summer and winter CSA and throughly enjoyed all the great assortment of veggies. My only suggestion is to put out an email on Saturday with what is "expected" to be in the basket so you don't buy dupes when doing the weekend shopping. There is swap basket which works out well when you want more or less of a basket item. Michael Amanda and their team are customer oriented and Amanda houses the CSA I her floral shop where she extends you a 10% discount. We get the smaller basket and works out perfectly.

I have been participating in The Farm's summer CSA program for several years. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Veggies are super fresh and contain a nice variety of common summer veggies like tomatoes corn and peppers, but also some more unusual veggies like kohlrabi fennel and tomatillos. We eat a lot of veggies and since we were enjoying it so much we decided to try the larger basket last summer. Wow! That was a lot of vegetables. Delicious and fresh but a bit too much for the two of us. We are going back to the smaller size share. Nice part is that they also sell extra veggies that you can purchase at the store. Amanda and Mike are fantastic people - friendly, helpful and involved in the community. This year they had a coup,e of girls from Nonnewaug's vo-ag program working with the CSA. I highly recommend!!
