Un-Trusted Farm:Moldy onions & apple with produce sticker
By:    (Dec 30, 2015)

I am disappointed to report that even though my family typically enjoys our winter share our last drop had a few moldy onions and some nice apples, though one of the apples contained a 4 digit numbered produce sticker, meaning grown via conventional means (pesticides). I am truly disappointed and disgusted by this as I paid $440 for fresh, local & sustainable food that does not meet the standards Trusted Farms claims they provide. I brought this to the owners attention and was blown off. Makes me wonder how much of their produce is really grown via organic means.

We have had a winter share with Trusted Earth Farm for two years in a row. Last year they were great and this year they were AMAZING.

Every week we received a box with a very nice assortment of vegetables - the staples (onions, potatoes, carrots, squash) and something more "fun" that we could feature in a meal (cabbage, spinach, beets).

Having weekly farm fresh eggs, 1-2 canned item, and baked goods really allowed us to go to the grocery store not that often! We really appreciated the improvements in variety from yr 1 to yr 2 and are already excited for next winters share!

Best CSA in Southwest Wisconsin
By: Sarah Miller    (Jan 24, 2012)

Actually the best CSA I've ever joined.

The winter boxes were brimming with good, hearty winter food: fresh root vegetables, baked and canned goods, and lots of love. Trusted Earth delivered *to my house,* which I consider truly exceptional in this day and age.

I will definitely stick with them in the future. Highly, highly recommended.

CSA and Birthday Catering
By: richard marks    (Jan 24, 2012)

I just wanted to type a review for our Catering service that we received last week from Trusted Earth. I have been a CSA members of theirs for 2 going on 3 years now, and i am so happy with my weekly box. The bread the vegetables, all of it. Their spinach and their pastured eggs are the absolute best! Ill never use a different CSA farm.

But i especially wanted to review my sister's birthday party catering we ordered. Having food catered for a party is a big luxury, but to have a menu that is all seasonal and sustainable - plus beautiful and delicious, really made the night! The cake was amazing, the tapas was excellent and everyone was so, so happy. I love that they use all vintage platters, plus they dropped off and cleaned up. I hardly had to do anything but eat!! We even had a bunch of leftovers. It was my sister's present from me and she said it was the best birthday party she's ever had. If I ever get married, I know who I'm calling!

Thank you so much guys!!

Our CSA share
By: yvette renolds    (Jan 24, 2012)

We had a CSA share with Trusted Earth this year - it was wonderful. We had a great mix of vegetables every weeks and ate every one of them!! The recipes helped us with vegetables we didn't use often and newsletter with all of the pictures was really beautiful. We also really enjoyed having eggs, canned goods and baked goods every week - we hardly went to the grocery store. I cant wait to join next year - for both summer and winter. They said they'll have mushrooms, wild leeks and spring mix in the boxes. Great job Trusted Earth!

Best CSA I have ever done!
By: Larissa Distler    (Jan 20, 2012)

We didn't do a summer CSA this year because we finally planted our own garden, but we did do Trusted Earth's Winter CSA. It was wonderful! Getting the box every week was like Christmas. We especially loved the value added products. The bread was always great and it was different every week. Also the canned goods and baked items/granola were yum! We are definitely planning on signing up next year as we don't plant a lot of winter crops and use our greenhouse mostly for tropicals.

Thank you Trusted Earth! It was a pleasure.
