You are the farmers of the future and I am proud to support you. I appreciate that you are so transparent about how you farm and are constantly looking for ways to innovate.
I also feel that the fact that you teach others how to use their yards to increase their food security is awesome! I am excited to see the garden plan for my parents yard...
My favorite foods (of last season) were the mammoth basil, it was delish and the ginormous head or cauliflower. What you were able to produce on such a tiny plot is inspiring! All of your produce at the Tuesday markets was beautiful.
I am truly excited to see what you are able to do as you learn and grow.
Moscow, ID is a better place with Deep Roots Farm.

Deep Roots Farm is committed to natural growing techniques and providing stellar produce and eggs to the Palouse area residents. Their farm is always open to those who wish to talk to them about their farming practices and show them around. Layla and Bennie provide great eggs and lots of fun just watching them be happy chickens. Don't miss a chance to meet these wonderful farmers and the food they grow! I can't wait to see them at the Tuesday market and far into their future! Great job!

I can't wait for the growing season to start, because it's when I get some of my favorite local veggies from Deep Roots. Salsa with their vine ripe tomatoes is incredible. I've eaten it through the winter and it tastes like summertime. I also recommend roasting their ears of sweet corn. The kernels were full sized and popped when I bit into them. Add some chili powder, a squeeze of lime juice and a gin & tonic and you are set!
