This was the first time my husband and I joined a CSA, and Field Stone Farm met all of our expectations and then some! The size and variety of our weekly share was perfect for the two of us. Some weeks we really had to work at using everything! The recipes allowed us to enjoy the veggies in new and creative ways. We also bought our eggs, some chickens and the wonderful flatbreads. Can't wait for our Thanksgiving turkey, too! Ian and Chandra do a fabulous job and we are looking forward to a long friendship with them and their wonderful farm.

This was my first experience with a CSA, and it was wonderful. I looked forward to my weekly share, and especially appreciated the recipes Chandra included each week. The farm is in a beautiful location, and I enjoyed having an excuse to go there each week. Knowing that everything is grown organically is very reassuring.

Chandra and Ian do a fabulous job of providing us with fresh veggies at a very reasonable price. I am always amazed at what awaits me every time I receive my share. I like that I am not overwhelmed with too much produce that I don't want or don't use and I love the recipes that come with the newsletter. The ability to purchase fresh chicken and eggs has been a real plus and I love, love, love the herb garden. Adding the flat breads was a real treat but they barely made it to the dinner table as I couldn't stop myself from eating just one more bite. Don't tell my husband but he didn't get some of the fruits and veggies because I ate them on my way home. My last CSA was very large and lacked that personal touch. I like that Chandra and Ian are around when I pick up my share and they are always willing to show me what's new around the farm. They make you feel at home and that's why I look forward to pick up day. I can't wait for next year!

We greatly enjoyed our first CSA ever with Ian and Chandra last summer, and we were surprised with the quantity and quality of the produce. Each Friday afternoon, we walked up to their farm for an ever-changing and large portion of herbs, fruits, and vegetables. The unlimited herbs were great, even if we did not take as much advantage of as we could have...or will! The potatoes, broccoli, cucumbers, radishes, fennel, tomatoes, blackberries, and peppers were outstanding! We received weekly e-mails with updates on available produce and recipes, and Ian and Chandra actively solicited our feedback. The price is right for sure, and I ate more healthily than ever! Thank you so much...we've already signed up for this year!

I had been wanting to join a CSA for years and am so glad that my first experience was with Field Stone Farm. While we are blessed to live close enough to walk to the farm, it would for sure be worth the drive. The share was generous, the food fantasic and the weekly updates and recipes a bonus. We enjoyed our weekly forays to the farm to receive the latest bounty. Most memorable were the lovely blackberries and the chance to pick them, the giant carrots that my daughter could not get enough of and the flavorful basil that made delicious pesto. Even now, in deep winter, we have beets, onions and garlic from the farm still seemingly fresh and waiting to be enjoyed, not to mention carrots, blackberries, rhubarb and winter squash in our freezer ready to be enjoyed anytime.
Ian and Chandra are clearly passionate about their desire to provide wonderful local food to their community and willing to share their knowledge. My daughter and friends learned how to harvest potatoes and gather eggs on one visit. I appreciate how they ask for and are open to honest feedback about what we are looking for and what kinds of foods work for us. That makes a difference.
In short, our experience was great and we look forward to many more years of enjoying the bounty that Field Stone Farm CSA offers!
