The best eggs anywhere
By: Tina Fox (May 1, 2015)
I get my eggs exclusively from Paris Barns. They have a wide variety of duck, chicken and turkey eggs. Occasionally they have emu eggs. I haven't actually had the pleasure of tasting the emu eggs yet, but am hopeful to make the short list one day. The owner almost always comes out to make every visitor feel welcome and give them the history of the farm. They have honey that they process themselves from hives on the property. A wide variety of animals scatter the property as well. This farm also doubles as a rescue for these animals. The produce is mostly tomatoes. There are numerous varieties growing here. They also do small crops of other fruits and vegetables available on a first come first serve basis. An all around enjoyable days outing.

The old adage is "you are what you eat eats" ... We bought some (unwashed) duck eggs from Paris Barns @ Liberty Farm from a local farm market. When I enquired if the eggs were fed organic, soy free, feed, the person on the phone said she did not know, but it was from Sothern States. She never called back or emailed so I'm assuming the feed was not organic or soy free.

Paris Barns is a beautiful animal sanctuary farm that offers a unique and wonderful experience for people to view animals and find fresh produce and eggs. It has a calming atmosphere and delivers true gentleness to the soul! The people who run it are loving, honest people who truly care about animals and take pride in their harvests. It is worth the drive out to experience this yourself!

Live animals, good produce, interesting environment. The barn is a store and has so many things to offer. Highly recommend.
