The produce is always fresh and clean. the owners are very knowledgeable. I would recommend them if you are thinking about a CSA share! You will not be disappointed.

This will be our second year with ARF. Brooke and John are knowledgeable and dedicated stewards of the land. You know you can trust their produce to be organic and flavorful. They even deliver which is a huge time saver for us.

I recently signed up for my third year of ARF's summer community supported agriculture pick up. It's been fantastic getting to eat local organic produce. The quality of the food seems better than the produce at the grocery store as it tastes better and stores longer. Often I'll visit the ARF stand at the farmers market for more. I'm also very pleased with their pork. I would highly recommend ARF!

We have known John and Brooke for many years, and they are some of our favourite people. They are kind, gentle, honest, respectful, and we trust their integrity in all things. If you want your food to be grown by good people, you can't do better than to eat Alternative Roots Farm produce.

We started with a full share back in 2015 and haven't looked back since. The diversity in the crops is amazing and has introduced us to items, such as kohlrabi and Mizuna, that we otherwise would never have tried. We love both of them and look forward to enjoying them again this season. We also have partaken in their half hogs and it keeps our freezer stocked for a good six months. Your 'bacon seeds' are the best! The farm fresh eggs we get from ARF are far superior in quality, flavor and value. The partnership with Moody's Bees honey is a nice addition to our CSA. It is nice to know their products are all locally produced. We always participate in the autumn share so we can stock up on the root vegetables for the autumn. It is so nice to not have items go bad and still be fresh in the middle of the winter when we need them most. We look forward to the winter share with the addition of the deep winter greenhouse this year. Shout out to the farm dogs Hazel and Odin from the Nelsons!

My husband and I joined Alternative Roots Farm last year after moving to the area. We participated in CSAs in Madison, WI in the past. I can honestly say that our experience with Brooke & John has surpassed our previous experiences. The level of engagement with the community is very high. There have been many opportunities to participate in farm activities, which helped us to get to know Brooke, John, and the Alternative Roots community of members. We truly feel like a part of the CSA family.
