There were very few venders, very little selection, and the location and building were terrible. Westside market would be a better choice.

The farmers have become my friends and I always know I can get good quality produce and baked goods here. They have been going for 77 years and have changed with the neighborhood to be sure fresh foods are available to the residents.

They offer a great service to vendors, small businesses and community gardeners. In an area where there are few grocery stores it is great to have a place to purchase fresh, Ohio grown organic foods.

Love the sweet corn and admire the tenacity to maintain a true inner-city farmer's market. Fresh food is not just for suburbanites !

I support the Coit Rd. Farmer's market because of their mission to continue to make fresh and healthy food available in the inner-city and for their city garden project. The market is serving an invaluable service to the city of East Cleveland.

The people are so incredibly friendly, it's like a family reunion everytime I shop there! People tell know me and tell me things I might be interested in that I might not have noticed, not just to make a sale, but because they genuinely know that's the kind of thing I want to know -- recipes, "secret" ingredients for really good cooking, alternative ways to prepare different foods, what's coming in soon, what is near the end of the season, how to get more from my own garden ... sometimes I can even request certain veggies, and they'll save some for me (I'm not an early riser!)

Good local vendors with fair prices. Reminds me of living in Europe and supporting the local economy.

It brings fresh local food to a poor neighborhood unlike the markets for the rich.

Through the prosperous times for East Cleveland and the horrible times, our Coit Road Market has remained and now is becoming a leading part of the renaissance of our area. Great produce, baked goods, spices, and friendships!
