Local growers sell Ohio grown produce of all kinds, free range eggs, cheese, home based bakery products and crafts item. In spring, vendors sell bedding plants, hanging baskets, herbs, etc. Open Saturdays, 8:00A -1:00P year round and Wednesdays 8:00A-1:00P June thru October. Located at the corner of Coit & Woodworth Rds., East Cleveland, OH, one block from E. 152nd and Noble, the market is easily accessible from I-90 and all east side suburbs.
Market was founded in 1910 by co-op of farmers with a building for year round operation open at this location since 1932. The non-profit East Cleveland Market Preservation Society has operated the Market since 2000.
The Market is committed to bring local produce to the inner city, maintaining a year round market, and encouraging the preservation of family farming and sustainable agriculture. The market participates in the WIC Farm Market Nutrition Program. Eligible women and their children receive coupons that may only be spent on fresh Ohio fruits and vegetables. Through the Department of Aging we have a similar program for the elderly. Working in partnership with The Cuyahoga County Board of Health, the OSU Extension and the City and residents of East Cleveland, the Market hosts a community garden and urban farm on a part of the property.
The Market accepts the Ohio Direction Card (EBT for food stamps). A $20.00 match is available to card holders to purchase food at the Market.

There were very few venders, very little selection, and the location and building were terrible. Westside market would be a better choice.

The farmers have become my friends and I always know I can get good quality produce and baked goods here. They have been going for 77 years and have changed with the neighborhood to be sure fresh foods are available to the residents.
