The vast majority of any honey bought at any store around Houston will never compare with this stuff. The taste is superb. Supporting local beekeepers is an important thing to do for many reasons: these bees aren't over exploited like so many of the big agriculture bees, these bees might be pollinating your garden, and finally knowing where your honey comes from gives you a connection to your home and the earth that no store bought honey could provide.

This is absolutely the best honey I have ever had!! I just placed an order for a case to give as gifts for the holidays and was provided with the sweetest holiday tags already attached.
I was contacted immediately after placing the order and the honey was delivered promptly. Thank you Mark for without a doubt the best honey ever!!

We got introduced to the Bellaire Honey Company during the Bellaire Recycles Fest 3 wks ago. Bought one jar to try. My husband mixes a teaspoonful with his morning coffee to help alleviate his allergies. He also likes the flavor much better than the others we've tried. I've also tried it with our homemade ginger-yam tea ("salabat"). We're hooked, and just purchased one case of honey!
Owner Mark Anderson promptly responded to our online order. He even threw in some holiday tags to come with the jars.

I am always happy to support local business and Mark and Jason at the Bellaire Honey Company are doing a great thing. Mark was gracious enough to have my girlfriend and myself over for her birthday for a visit of their bee hives and learn more about the whole process. Jason was very knowledgeable and showed us the hives first hand. The honey is excellent and it is amazing to know that it is produced inside Loop 610 from local bee's.

Thanks Bellaire Honey for giving me what I have been looking for. I have been suffering from allergies for years (in Houston) and this honey is what I need.
The honey is delicious and I can tell a difference in just a day with the allergies. The service was wonderful and thanks to you and Jason for this wonderful NEEDED service in Houston.
I will be back soon.
Thanks again.

A girlfriend recommended that I use local bee honey for my out of control allergies. She said that there was someone in Bellaire (a little city within the huge metroplex of Houston) that was producing his own honey. Googled the company and found him. Being desperate, I ordered 3 bottles right off the bat. At this point, I'd try swallowing gasoline to get relief.
Picked it up last night and I must say I'm pretty impressed. Mark Anderson is obviously a man possessed with the pursuit of providing the best honey possible in the middle of a big, pollen ridden, polluted city. In two words, it rocks. I will be buying this for Xmas presents.
The other "local" honey will be demoted to cooking. This stuff is pretty smooth. Might be meeting up with some special whiskey I have.
Also, hats off to the bees. They are even more sacred to me now.

Read about this company in a local newspaper. The honey is made in the backyard of a local home, from flowers that could include those in my own garden.
The honey does not taste just sweet and bland like the stuff from grocery stores. The light-colored one I bought has a distinctive taste, almost like a perfume for the tongue. The bottles are lovely; they are nice enough that I'm considering giving the bottled honey as gifts over the holidays.

I have never tasted REAL honey before this. Always bought the crappy processed stuff sold in stores. No more.
This honey has many complex layers to its taste, I guess, from the many varieties of wildflowers in the Houston area. Both the amber and amber light have very aromatic tastes and a very smooth homogenous texture.
I am sold. No more store bought honey for me. I may even start to like bees now.

I enjoyed meeting Mark and purchased two pretty jars of local honey from him. Excellent honey. I really enjoy knowing it will provide the best honey based allergy protection available to me given that I live in the neighborhood. All the best, Amy

Local Honey that is unprocessed--not pasteurized -is ideal for those who suffer from seasonal allergies---like me!
The flavor of the 'amber' wild flower honey is so rich--just a dab is all you need. This is the 'real stuff.' 'Honey from China' may be synthetic blend of sugar, water, flavoring---NOT real honey. Find and buy REAL HONEY from the Bellaire area and Live Better.
