While we always welcomed a variety of vegetables in our diet before we were introduced to Redfearn Farm, becoming part of the CSA brought more veggie variety into our diet. We met Sheri at the Lee?s Summit Farmers Market and were sporadic customers for a season or so but enjoyed the vegetables so much?as well as Sheri?s pleasant conversation?that we decided to make a CSA share a regular part of our food purchases. Since then, we?ve had fun exploring vegetables we had not eaten before (some we?d never even heard of!) and incorporating them into a regular part of our diet.

I tend to be an analyzer, so the biggest obstacle to purchasing a CSA share was, at the time, the upfront cost. After crunching the numbers, though, it was clear that we were getting just as much, if not more, quantity of vegetables for our money as we were at our regular grocery store. That?s not even taking into consideration the quality of vegetables we were getting from the Redfearn Farm?no comparison!

Before I first joined the CSA, I just tried to get fresh veggies from farmer's markets when I could. With my work schedule this was difficult so I was so excited to find Red Fearn Farms. They make it super easy to gather your veggies with so many locations and such a flexible pick up schedule if problems arise.

When joining Redfearn Farm CSA, I had no idea how much of a catalyst for change in our lives it would be. After being members for a few years now, we have really made a transformational change in our family. We had been members of a CSA in another state, and while we enjoyed it, we often did not receive the variety we wanted in our vegetables. The variety at Redfearn keeps us constantly trying new recipes and even introduces us to new vegetables that we've never tried before. The fresh produce is so yummy that you don't crave processed food. Adding the Facebook group page has been great because I get new ideas from other members, and it serves as inspiration when I am struggling with meal planning. Our children love seeing where their food is grown. Whether or not we've ever said it, joining helped us feel more a part of a community and it's been fun to find out new friends are also members. We can't thank Sheri and Dave enough for allowing us to be a part of their farm family.

Each week the bounty was beyond spectacular. We always had more than we could imagine, and the quality was outstanding. The Redfearns made it a priority to get to know us, and had a great weekly blog with ideas on how to use some of the fun, new mysterious veggies! I will most definitely be purchasing another share, and will continue to encourage others to do so, as well.

We loved this past season of Where the Redfearn Grows Natural Farms CSA. We got a full share for our family of six and we had more than enough fresh veggies each week. The variety was outstanding and we were able to try many new items. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Our family has participated in the CSA with the Redfearns for the last two years. It is well worth the money, and our kids love the trips to the farm to see where the food comes from. Much more fun than a trip to the supermarket.

My family had a great experience with our CSA share from Where the Redfearn Grows. We enjoyed many of our favorite veggies like tomatoes, summer squash, zucchini and peppers while also learning about new veggies like Swiss Chard, Kohlrabi, Bok Choy and many more. Each week we received a generous amount of fresh produce along with an email with different recipes and tips. It was reassuring to know where our food came from and how it was grown. It was also nice learning how to cook new, healthy and delicious dishes.

This was our first year to try a CSA share, and it was a wonderful experience. The Redfearns are so kind, and they provided excellent service. We were impressed with the variety, quantity and quality of the vegetables. The Redfearns were so helpful to provide information about how to use and store the new vegetables as well as delicious recipes. Our family has enjoyed the adventure and challenge of preparing and eating new vegetables. Our kids enjoy weekly visits to the farm, and they have fun helping with veggie-related tasks such as shelling beans. We are so thankful for Where the Redfearn Grows Natural Farms!

We'd never been part of a CSA before, but since we've been working on being healthier for the past few years, this seemed like the best, next step! The variety of food we received got me excited about cooking and trying new flavors. Even my husband enjoys out-of-the-ordinary veggies he didn't grow up with. The Redfearns were very accommodating and always provided great service!

We were very pleased with our experience this year with Redfearn Farm. On top of the common staples you'd expect to receive, we also got to try several new vegetables for our family and were very pleased! Mizuna is a new family favorite! Our full share was also very generous and we never found ourself short on anything that we received. It was a TON of food for the money and this family of 7 never ran out of our favorites! On top of all of this, the Redfearn family is very warm and friendly and it was a joy picking up our share just so I could chat! Not only did we get excellent produce through the majority of the year, but we made friends! I highly recommend Where the Redfearn Grows Natural Farms for any of your CSA needs.
