After reading the other reviews before I purchased the Meyer lemons I expected perfect well packed lemons. I was surprised to receive the lemons rolling around loose in a box. Several were bruised and others were split open. I will not order from this farm again. I have ordered from several Local Harvest farms in the past with very good results so this order was disappointing.

I am really fussy about lemons I usually have at least one a day. These are perfection! The color is a beautiful yellow and the flavor is sweet with the perfect amount of lemon flavor. Well packed and good shipment. I like them so much I just placed another order.

Fairview Orchards is what farming should be.
In the last fifty years, the family farm has been systematically destroyed in the interest of mega farming and the Jeffersonian vision of American, that of its citizens connected to their soil has all but vanished.
Not so at Fairview.
They grow the most healthy and delicious products with reverence for the soil and for our precious water.

I ordered 20 lbs of Meyer lemons. Due to some rather bad weather the packaging was damaged during shipment. I contacted Sean at Fairview, and he immediately made things right. Awesome customer service. Most importantly, Fairview lemons are the best quality I have ever seen or tasted. The lemons are huge, juicy, with delicate tasty skin, a real gourmet treat far removed from the standard grocery store fair. They are also very versatile, with juice, flesh, and zest all great additions to the kitchen. I will definitely order more. Good stuff!

I purchased this box for a family member and she sent me a picture of the box and it looked very nice. I liked the inventory slip of what fruit types were included and also the handwritten script note with my message on it. The recipient enjoyed three pieces of fruit the day she received it! I was so happy with the results of this purchase that I am buying another one to send to another family as a gift.

Absolutely beautiful Meyer lemons. Large, firm and very heavy for their size. Flesh is firm with lots of juice with a wonderful balance of lemon taste and tart. Not blah like super market lemons. Peeling (outter rind) is great for lemon zest with not a lot of thick pith which can give zest a bitter taste. These were the best lemons I have purchased in 20 yrs and I will definitely be back for more. I also ordered blood oranges from Fairview Orchards in Ojai and they too were firm, heavy for their size sweet and juicey. Not overly big like supermarket produce but their flavor and texture were superior to anything you can buy at the grocery store or big box stores.

Fairview Orchard Meyer organic lemons are amazing, juicy & packed exceptionally well & arrived in absolutely beautiful condition. I ordered some for my sister in Idaho because of the high quality of the lemons. The lemons smell wonderful & taste refreshing.
I discovered them last year when in California & never thought I could get as good a Meyer lemon way over here in Wisconsin.
And then, I ordered yours & WOW...I'm so happy I did.
Way better than I expected & packed with love !!
I will order from your orchard again & will recommend your orchard to my family & friends. Worth every penny. Thank you, thank you, thank you. These lemons are as close to how God created them as I can imagine.

If you can, order these! We purchased them to try as we have a few jujubes that grow out but freeze back and so far, no fruit, up here in Iowa. They are so incredibly tasty, and truly at every stage. They are ripening during season, so some that shipped will be more ripe than others, as expected. If you have had the luxury of fresh persimmon or fresh pawpaw in season, this is the non-drippy equivalent! Think mango, pineapple, papaya, and apple rolled into one. One pod in the middle, instead of oodles of seeds like a pawpaw or depending on male plants in the vicinity, a persimmon.
This has fully renewed my interest in growing more of these for our family.

Avocados are one of my absolute favorite foods and it's not easy to find good ones at the store here in NW Florida. They are usually either over-ripe and/or bruised, or else they are hard as a rock and for some reason don't ripen well at home. We tried growing them, but even the Mexicali variety that are supposed to be cold tolerant died during the winter here. I was delighted to find these avocados on sale from Fairview Orchards. They arrived in flawless condition and ripened perfectly - the best we've ever had! Could not be happier with this purchase.

I purchased 5# of Meyers on March 14, 2016...they arrived on March 16. I live in NH, and it blew my mind that they arrived so quickly. The lemons were nestled in crinkly brown shredded paper (so "eco") making it feet like digging into an Easter basket as they were discovered one by one. Various sizes, and all perfect. I visit California at least once per year, and discovered Meyer lemons about 8 years ago. Finding Fairview Orchards on Local Harvest and getting fruit delivered is just a wonderful way to have a quick, inexpensive visit nearly any time. Way to go, Fairview folks!

First time doing something like this online, so I was a bit worried how it was going to turn out. I went all-in and ordered a box of 18 avocados. I could not be more pleased!!!
The avocados were at my door two days after they were harvested. BEAUTIFUL huge avocados, well-packed. They all ripened in about a week, and the supply kept in the fridge for about four weeks as we ate on 'em. They were absolutely delicious!!!

Great Service. Incredibly fresh. They are shipped on the day that they are picked. Purchased 10 lbs. and they are without a doubt the best lemons you'll ever have. Currently making Limoncello, (can't wait), made fresh lemon meringue pie and cookies. Squeezed some for freshly made lemon juice and lemonade. The fragrance of these large, thin skinned, juicy lemons fills the kitchen. Great to support small family farms. Definately worth the price

I thought I would try the Meyer Lemons so I ordered the 3 pounds. They arrived in two days packed in a sufficient box. There were 15 beautiful lemons enclosed in my order. I put them out on a platter in my kitchen. They are beautiful lemons and they taste great. I am a lemon water drinker. My whole kitchen smelled like lemons which was quite a blessing here in Pittsburgh PA with temperatures all week in the teens. Thank you for the fast shipping and the most wonderful Meyer lemons. They were bright yellow and had shiny skins. I am pleased and will order from you again. God Bless you all.

I received my Meyer lemons today! They arrived safe and sound due to their excellent packing. I swear I just had ordered them the other day! Talk about fast service!
These are the best Meyer lemons I have ever purchased, large in size, fresh, and unblemished!
I already squeezed one and mixed it with honey and hot water- best thing to cure your cold!
I love them because they are sweeter than regular lemons.

HOLY SMOKES! Sean and Tien sent me the BEST lemons of any type I have ever eaten! They make a heavenly scent throughout your room, even if you haven't cut into them yet!! I wanted to keep sniffing the peels and drinking my Meyer Lemonade again & again! Best yet, the skins are very pretty, very clean and easy to cut up for dehydrating for adding grated lemon peel to dishes. The juice is quite lemony yet not overly acidic...makes the BEST Lemon Pudding I've ever had!
To top that off, I had a small problem with the order I placed, i.e.how to adjust it for the appropriate coupon. Sean and Tien went way out of their way to make sure that I got the best service, the best price, and was totally satisfied. :-) After seeing how beautiful the lemons are and how perfectly packaged they were when they arrived so fast (!), I will be back for more of your fine citrus. Amazing service, to order them on Thursday and receive them on Saturday...from CA to Central NY! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

I ordered one of these for a gift last season, and decided I had better send myself a box too, to check the quality. Everything was so fresh. The lemons were very big. Avocados were superior to what we can get in stores here. They ripened smooth and creamy. I especially loved the tangerines for the intense burst of flavor. I will be ordering again when this comes back in season Just to have those tangerines again.

I've ordered Meyer lemons and avocados several times (6 or 7) since my first order last summer. Every shipment has been perfect! Tasty and in great shape! I just received my first shipment of Eureka lemons and they measure up to my past orders. Better then any lemons currently available in the markets near me. I highly recommend Fairview Orchards' products.

In Upstate New York, it's hard to find organic avocados. The supermarket sells a 3 pak, but their condition is not usually good. Bruised and over-ripe, they disappoint. To put it bluntly, they don't ripen as much as they rot. They are a waste of money.
But, the ones I got from Fairview Orchards are so good I'm having trouble finding words. They remind me of Avocados I bought back when I lived in California. These are super fresh. They were packed very well, and arrived in perfect condition. The post office moved them quickly from coast to coast in a mere 4 days.
And now for the flavor. My God, they are sublime. I will definitely be re-ordering.

I have ordered the box of 12 avocados twice. They are simply wonderful. They arrived in perfect condition. I put half in the refrigerator, leave half on the counter to begin the ripening process and then start putting those in the refrigerator - that way I have an avocado a day for 12 days. I am the envy of my friends when I serve them these delicious treats. Thanks so much - so glad I found your site.

We are thigh deep in snow in central New York winter of 2015. I am so glad I eavesdropped on a conversation between acquaintances about Local Harvest .org and looked it up online. The website makes it easy to navigate between growers and place orders. Fresh Meyer lemons arrived in the mail days after I ordered them from Fairview Orchards in CA in excellent condition; I couldn't be more satisfied with the product, packaging, and speedy delivery. I will be ordering from Fairview Orchards again and using LocalHarvest often. It is wonderful to have fresh citrus that is only 4 days old in the middle of winter in Upstate NY. I was able to view local farmers on the website that I wouldn't have known about; this is a wonderful site.

I've really enoyed working with Sean at Fairview Orchards. They clearly love growing and sharing high quality organic fruit, and they offer excellent quality customer service and attention to the whole process. You can see from their website how much they care about their farm and their fruit. I've had several deliveries of their organic pomegranates this year, and they are big, ripe, and delicious. There was some damage during transit in one of the boxes, and Sean was very responsive and enthusiastic to make sure I was happy with the replacement. It's wonderful to be able to buy directly from farmers with this amount of passion for their farm and their product. Thanks!

My second box of pomegranates were disappointing. I had first ordered 5 pomegranates and they were big as described. But when I decided to place a second order of 9 pomegranates it was understandably expected I would get similar sized fruit. But the ones I received were about medium sized; comparable in weight to my previous order of 5 large fruits. I think they might consider either stating them as medium in size, or sell them by weight as some other vendors do to avoid false expectation.

I have ordered your Organic Myers Lemons 4 times now and I Love them!!
The skin is nice and thin, has a delicate aroma and so very sweet and a bonus is that they are organic!
We squeeze and freeze them, but they don't last long because I go through them like water. You can't buy these anywhere around here in Bethlehem, Pa. I'm so happy I was able to get this, (I'm sure the last order of the season) in. I'm going to miss them terribly until they're back in season again.
I will continue to buy these.

I recently ordered a box of Meyer Lemons from Fairview. It shipped very efficiently. Unfortunately, it seemed to fall into a dark hole at my local Post Office and was never heard from again. The folks at Fairview were very responsive and shipped a new box right away. The second box arrived just as it was supposed to. The lemons were fantastic! Perfectly ripe and delicious. I've never seen Meyer Lemons that nice in the D.C area. I can't wait to try some of Fairview's other fruit!

I purchased 5 pounds of Meyer Lemons. They arrived in a timely fashion and in perfect condition. These are large, blemish free fruits with a delicate aroma. For a person locked in the frozen tundra of the midwest, this was a little bag of heaven. This 5 pounds batch is currently turning into what I hope will be the best limoncello ever. I will purchase again.
