My second box of pomegranates were disappointing. I had first ordered 5 pomegranates and they were big as described. But when I decided to place a second order of 9 pomegranates it was understandably expected I would get similar sized fruit. But the ones I received were about medium sized; comparable in weight to my previous order of 5 large fruits. I think they might consider either stating them as medium in size, or sell them by weight as some other vendors do to avoid false expectation.

All of the pomegranates we send out would be considered large in size by individual weight but sometimes we have super large ones we like to share. Since you ordered from us before, we sent you some amazingly large pomegranates when they were available. These were a lot larger than what we normally have but we thought it would be great to share the special harvest with you. I apologize that you were misled into thinking all of the pomegranates would be that large.

I've ordered many pomegranates from other vendors, and found it's nto all a matter of size and volume; I've had some very tart ones. I remember Fairview orchard's poms were consistently very sweet.
