My family has bought 1-2 steers per year from Debby and Toby for the last 2 years, and will continue to choose them so long as we are local. Quite simply, you can taste the quality of life these animals lived in their meat. I prefer to keep spices to a minimum because the flavor of this beef is so high quality. Plenty of beautiful marbling in the steaks and roasts, without the grain (keeping those omegas in perfect balance for nourishing my growing children!). They obviously love what they do; communicating with Debby is always pleasant, and they are very open to have us and the kiddos out to visit the farm. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much, Amber, for the thoughtful and positive review! Toby and I appreciate it (and you!) very much!.

We got the pleasure of meeting Toby & Debby. Not only do they take great care in their animal but they are the sweetest and they are the kindest souls. They took their time with us and answered all our questions. The meat is actually very fatty and has a wonderful taste. We are so glad to have found Dogwood Farms and we couldn't recommend them more!!

Ok, I'm a little biased (Debby is my sister). Dogwood Farm Herefords are amazing animals and Toby and Debby treat them with the respect and care they deserve. The meat is lean, easy to cook and quite tasty. The Dulworths are among the most conscientious stewards I know of.. anywhere and their cumulative experience with grass-fed livestock coupled with their keen interest in best-practice farming puts them in a class of their own.

We have bought grass fed beef from this farm for three years splitting a cow between four families. The beef is excellent and the service is too. Tony and Debbie are very easy to work with and are invested in providing tasty beef. The more research that comes out on the difference between "grain fed" beef and the grass fed beef the more pleased we are with our decision to go "grass fed". We have already placed our order for next year's cow. We feel lucky to have this farm in our area and hope more products become available where you can buy grass fed products
