I buy the eggs produced on the Abundance Acres Farm from the Liberty Fresh Markets. These are hands down the best eggs I have ever eaten. Yolks are so rich and yellow it is unbelievable.

Abundance Acres Eggs -- I can't say enough good things about them. Available through the winter (when my chickens went on strike!), and very large, fresh and tasty. They are very good to their chickens: plenty of fresh straw to bed down in, plenty of room to roam, and a good heated waterer. While I still occasionally get a dozen cheap grocery store eggs for baking with, what I savor for breakfast are Abundance Acres eggs from the Plain Food Co-op: poached, soft boiled or over easy: you can taste the difference not only in the dark orange yolk, but the white as well. For dishes that really rely on egg quality to come out right: Aoli and Hollandaise sauces, for example, and egg custard: worth using "the good eggs" from Abundance Acres, too! Can't wait to try their rabbit and pork.

I now understand that their "good heated waterer" is Pam running out to water the chooks two to three times a day with a kettle! :)
