Red Gate Ranch is the first CSA box I have ever done, after years of frequenting the farmers market. The produce I receive bi-weekly is always fresh, clean, beautiful, and delicious. They have good variety and it is great value for what I receive. It is fun for me to find things in my box I have never purchased or even seen in the grocery store (kohlrabi, sunchokes, tulsi basil, and broccoli rahb are some favorites). It helps me stay out of a cooking rut and find new recipes all the time. To top it all off, the farmers themselves are incredibly warm, kind, and knowledgeable. I love chatting with Audrey or Heather when I pick up my box, getting their tips for recipes, and learning more about the food they have grown. Red Gate Ranch has been an amazing experience all around.

We had been getting market veggies off and on from Red Gate and finally took a leap and signed up for a whole season! We never looked back. The fresh produce is a gift every week. The pork chops are divine. The Red Gate crew are welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Don't miss their open farm events! Thank you, Heather, Audrey, and Angela for everything.

My husband & I signed up for the weekly boxes this year and we are loving it. It's a nice surprise every week getting our box and learning to eat new foods from the garden (along with those we already knew). It's nice not having to shop as much and it's wonderful knowing our food is healthy and without any harmful extra ingredients.

The food is fresh and keeps well in the refrigerator (if we don't eat it first). The food is also clean and relatively pest-free (we've had a few pretty green caterpillars hitch a ride, but the food isn't covered in aphids or full of pest-eaten holes). The farmers are devoted to clean/organic growing methods.

Heather & Audrey are always friendly and willing to chat. They are also full of gardening and food preparation wisdom. It is a joy to stop by the ranch to pick up our food box each week. We recently saw the movie "Secret Ingredients" on Youtube which verified our choice to eat as much organic/non GMO food as possible.

This is our second year of receiving farm boxes thru both seasons, and we can?t say enough good about it all. The vegetables are delicious, fresh, and beautiful. The boxes are filled abundantly and with great variety. And of course we love our Red Gate Farmers!! It is wonderful to build community by truly supporting and nourishing each other.

I've been part of the CSA for about 6 months now and couldn't be more pleased! The veggies are delicious, the boxes are clean and well organized, the people are friendly. We also buy meat from them and it's of the best quality. They are also stewards of the land, humane to the animals, and sustainable. I enjoy going to the farm to pick up my CSA box with my kids. The kids get to see where their food comes from and I get to do my "grocery shopping" in a beautiful, friendly environment.
